Coaches aren't sedans
A coach trip can run 13 hours, cross a mountain pass and end 400 kilometres from the garage. Bus dispatch needs the hours-of-service picture, the road conditions and the driver hotel on the same screen as the assignment.
RouteOn checks each assignment against the driver's remaining cycle hours and flags trips over the single-driver driving limit, so you plan a second driver before the trip, not on the shoulder of the highway.

What is bus dispatch software?

Does it track hours of service for bus drivers?
Yes. RouteOn tracks Canadian Cycle 1 (70 hours in 7 days) per driver, live from Samsara or estimated from the schedule, and shows the hours left when you assign a trip.
Can each day of a multi-day charter have different drivers?
Yes. Each day and each extra bus has its own driver and vehicle, so you can swap drivers mid-tour without splitting the booking.
Does it show road closures?
In Alberta, 511 road events and Environment Canada weather alerts are matched to the trips they affect. British Columbia and Ontario coverage with suggested re-plans is in early access.
How do drivers get their schedule?
In the driver app, with stops, passengers and notes and no prices. Trip sheets can also go out by PDF, email or WhatsApp.
